First putting tournament on the Seiser Alm

The first putting tournament was held right in front of Seiser Alm Plaza on July 8, 2007, inaugurating the brand new facility located on the most famous plateau in South Tyrol.
As founding hotel of the Kastelruth/Seiser Alm Golf Club, the Plaza Hotel is ideal for golfer and has now enhanced its offer with a fantastic new putting green at an altitude of 1,800 m above sea level, which is sure to delight every golf lover. The inaugural tournament, under the expert direction of Golf Pro Rudi Knapp, provided many surprises, and not even the rain dampened the participants' enthusiasm. At the end of the 18 holes, Verena Goller was the undisputed winner with 34 points. Many visitors bet that the Plaza Putting Green is going to become a real attraction of the Seiser Alm.
