The Seiser Alm Urthaler is sheer nature. It was built purely organically, without chemical materials, and is radiation-proof. The walls are made of wood and glass, the floors of wood or natural stone, the carpets are hand-woven. Healthy, allergy-free and one of a kind in Europe.
Walls, ceilings and floors of the Urthaler rooms are made of
untreated spruce and larch timber which was cut during a certain phase of the moon. Wooden dowels penetrate the massive wooden beam walls. The power of the wood
shields against any kind of radiation. Instead of magnetic room key cards, there is a return to the old-style hotel room key at the Seiser Alm Urthaler, in order to keep out this kind of radiation, too. At an altitude of 2,000 metres, allergy sufferers can breathe freely once more, in a
healthy indoor climate free of allergens. Our guests consider the mild scent of the wood to be stimulating and reassuring at the same time, leading to an especially deep and relaxed sleeping experience. The balconies and terraces made of wood have a splendid view of the marvellous scenery of the Dolomites.
